B205mini-i Info
At The ATA/GNU Radio hackathon (May 13 to 17, 2019) Tim O'Shea tim@deepsig.io installed a B205mini-i SRD permanently at the ATA.
The SDR plugged into a USB port on bl-ata-c0.
To access the SDR:
log into jrseti@digihead ssh davidm@bl-ata-c0/davidm
The SDR is operated from a docker container. To start is:
singularity run -B /datax:/dataxmount docker://ettusresearch/ubuntu-uhd:18.04-UHD-3.14.0.0
Then within the singularity for recording its something like:
/usr/lib/uhd/examples/rx_samples_to_file --freq 629.1456e6 --rate 40e6 --gain 60 --file /dataxmount/2019-05-16/output_test_file.16ic --args type=b200
In the above example the data will be placed in /datax directory. The data is raw (no meta info) and is 16 bit signed I/Q.
Note that a rate of 40M/s gets overflows. 30 does also. 10 is good, the disk can keep up.
